Nelson Cookie Wednesday

Today was our first Cookie Wednesday, but not just any Cookie Wednesday. Nelson Cookie Wednesday. In honor of the departure of CF's biggest fan, chocolate chip cookie mini cupcakes with vanilla/chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles (or according to RoJo, cookie cups), were excitedly devoured by all the CF fanatics.


We'll miss you, Nelly!

In another first, all the cookie cups were gone before noon.

And then there were crumbs.

Cookie Friday won't be the same without you, Nelson. But we shall try to persevere--with more cookies, of course.

Awww, you guys. Although today only marks CF's third blog post, as many of you know, our humble little cookie venture has been going on for some time now. Sharing my love of baking with you every week has been so much fun, but I never expected it to take on such a life of its own! Imagine my surprise when I receive such an incredible thank you gift from my cookie loving friends. I was blown away and it took everything for me not to cry little sugar filled tears! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Cookie Friday lives on!

Breaking the cookie mold.

No, it's not Christmas, friends. It's Cookie Friday...on a Thursday!



What better time to blur the cookie line? We went out on a limb with a no-bake "cookie." Thursday's treat was a peanut butter infused rice crispy treat ball with m&ms.

Crunchy. Salty. Sweet.

Below, Fro takes one for the team and poses with a tasty treat (at Casey's empty desk) despite her peanut allergy.



Melissa is one of CF's big fans. She's never afraid to come back for seconds! We like her style.
