Delographer Cookie Wednesday

My how the tables have turned!

This week we got to baking early in honor of the Delographer's birthday! CF said happy bday the baker's way with Delo's favorite banana oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.

From now on, the cookies will be known simply as The Delo Special.

Happy 21st! We hope you eat lots of cookies this year!

See you all next Friday,
CF

Cookie Thursday?

Yes, you read that right. Cookies came a day early this week to make sure that everyone could enjoy them, including one of CF's biggest supporters, and just in case we couldn't make it the office because of the wind (what a sham).

The usual suspects feasted on toffee bits cookies, sandwiched and drizzled with a touch of dark chocolate.

Thanks to Wes for his excellent hand modeling skills.

Roji got her own extra large cookies on account of her dentist appointment today. No cookies for her this weekend.

Good luck, Roj!

Have a breezy weekend everyone. See you back here next week.

The comeback cookie.

What up, cookie fans? CF was in the house today for the first Cookie Friday of 2009. I figured I'd kick it off with the classic of all classics: chocolate chip cookies.

We can all thank the ingenious Ruth Wakefield for so brilliantly inventing this American classic.

And, now, a little shout out to this little man (and future cookie lover, no doubt): Drew Isobe.

When he starts eating sugar, CF will be here for him.

Happy weekend!

Happy Holidays.

I only get up the courage to make these beauties once a year. Rainbow cookies, a New Jersey dietary staple, are noticeably absent from bakeries here in the middle of the Pacific. They will, however, always hold steady at #1 on my list of favorite nostalgic cookies. I just love 'em.

Enjoy your time off & see you next year!

Hey, Blondie.

Today's Special: The lazy baker's kitchen sink blondies with dark chocolate chips, pecans, marshmallows and coconut. Rich & random.

On a side note, whilst congregating for cookies, we noticed a wardrobe theme--STRIPES! The following photo sesh ensued (thanks, Delo!).

It's kind of a miracle that we manage to make magazines every month.

*Don't forget next week's cookie potluck!

XOXO,
CF

A Call for Cookies

Last Friday's recovery CF was pretty chill--yet chock full of mini-cupcakes! What kind you ask? Perhaps you didn't get to taste the chocolate chip cookie dough little wonders. Classic yellow cake with a cookie surprise center and fresh chocolate buttercream. Okay, I didn't have one either, but I hear they were tasty.

Now, looking ahead: CF is planning a major holiday "cookie swap" for Wednesday, December 24. It's a half day. You know you won't be doing work anyway. So if you have time, bake up a batch to bring in for the big swap. No pressure. Just cookies.

Love,
CF

PS. Last Saturday's party at Next Step was great. Lots of sweet thank yous to everyone who supported the cause.

Trick and Treat

Hope these photos were worth the wait!

Halloween Bark and Pumpkin Cake Ball Truffles courtesy of Cookie Friday.
Holiday fun and revelry? Courtesy of the crazy kids of PacBasin.

Enjoy!

He's a PC. And he's a Mac.

This still scares me.

The end :)

CF, The Holiday Edition

PacificBasin/AIO's first annual Give, Gift & Make holiday craft fair and bake sale DID WORK yesterday raising more than $1,100 to benefit the Next Step Shelter's holiday party.

Thank you to everyone for swarming our stuff and giving so generously. It will be much appreciated by the kids at next weekend's party.

Now for more fun picks from Mr. Michael Keany.

Ephy's beautiful rice crispy snowmen.

Doing BIZ.

CF represented with gingerbread, brownie and blondie sandwiches with cinnamon, vanilla and chocolate buttercreams respectively! Hours (and a small fire) worth of baking in the not-so-easy bake oven was worth it in the end.

Crafter time.

Watch your back, Brie. Scott might steal your Kiele modeling gig.

Thanks for waiting in line! (Note the 24hr Fitness in the back. The pre-workout types were strangely a hard sell.)

Have a lovely weekend!
XOXO, CF
